COINBASE Bytes newsletter
In my main role at Coinbase, I was a lead writer for Coinbase Bytes, their flagship weekly newsletter. With more than 30 million subscribers and extremely high engagement rates, Coinbase Bytes is by far the biggest newsletter in the crypto industry. As a lead writer and strategist for Bytes, I wrote at least one main section of the newsletter weekly, as well as helped to re-format the newsletter and adjust its voice to make it more digestible and approachable. The goal of Bytes was to create a trusted, relatively unbiased news source for beginner crypto investors that allowed people to learn about complex crypto topics, without feeling overwhelmed. The newsletter received near universal praise from readers and is the company’s most successful content initiative to date.
